Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, she was her co-star on "2 Broke Girls". After their breakup Dennings started dating the singer Josh Groban. In 2016, the couple was still in love. Dennings began dating musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. After a short time after which they started dating and, in the month of May of 2020 the couple announced their engagement. Dennings has been a fan since the year 2014. Dennings admits that while she was Jewish and was raised to become a member within the Jewish community at a social and ethnic basis, religion doesn't play a significant part in her everyday activities. Gardening, painting, as well as reading are among her interests. Her plans to go to an art college were foiled when her portfolio was destroyed in a flood.
