Kristen Anne Bell, born July 18, 1980] in the USA, is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing in stage productions during her time attending the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, she made her Broadway stage debut as Becky Thatcher in the comedy musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. Later, she starred in the action thriller Spartan (2004). She was also praised for her portrayal of Becky thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In the year following she made her Broadway debut for a revival of The Crucible. She reprised the character in the 2014 film as well as the new season in the year 2019. In her time in Veronica Mars, Bell starred in the role of Mary Lane in the musical film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical (2005) which was a reprise of the role she had played in the New York musical of the identical name.Bell played the role of Elle Bishop in the superhero drama series Heroes from 2007 to the year 2008. Bell played the role of the titular narrator for the Teen Drama series Gossip Girl. The 2021 sequel will feature her reprising the role. Bell was also Showtime comedy House of Lies' lead actress, Jeannie van de Hooven. Bell was the lead character Eleanor Shellstrop, the leading character in the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series The Good Place. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. Bell was also the lead character on the streaming series The Woman in the house across the street from the Girl in the Window.
